The Annual OMS Holiday Hammer Camp is open to U10 - U16 alpine ski racing athletes who participated in a U10-U19 program last winter. The camp provides an opportunity for athletes to be on snow for a lengthy period of consistent, intensive training and exposes them to life at a winter sports academy.
Get a jump on the winter by joining OMS for 3 days of early season on-snow training! U10-U16 athletes are invited to attend the annual OMS Holiday Hammer Camp from December 15-17, 2021. The camp will focus on GS and SL fundamentals to lay a strong foundation for the upcoming competition season. The day will run from 9 am - 2:30 pm at Okemo Mountain and the exact training schedule will be shared with registered campers the week prior to the camp.
Please note that this camp is on-snow only with the opportunity for video review. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, OMS will not be able to offer the usual study hall and dryland training time. Campers will eat lunch on the mountain and should be prepared with a packed lunch, or with money to purchase lunch. Please note that any camper 12 years or older will need to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to enter one of the cafeteria style restaurants at Okemo.
This is a great opportunity for athletes to jump start their season with some extra training and a taste of academy life! Daily schedule is subject to change based on number of campers for each age group. If a camper can’t make the full week, they may also sign up for individual days. The full week cost is $325 and includes a sweatshirt. Individual days are $125 per day, plus the $25 cost of a sweatshirt.
Please follow the link below to register for the camp. Payment may be made online or by mailing a check. Further instructions will be sent upon registering.
Please note: This is a day camp - no housing is provided. Camp fees do not include lift access at Okemo Mountain. If your child needs lift access, please contact the camp coordinator.
