More to come!

Tobias Britton

Tobi attended OMS for her high school years as an alpine skier from 2005-2009. Following OMS, she went on to the University of British Columbia where she received a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Biology. Recently, she has been attending Harvard to receive her Masters degree in Human Development and Psychology and is working at New York University as a research fellow in the Conceptual Development and Social Cognition Lab.

Tobi continued skiing for the UBC team during her freshman and sophomore years, but decided to spend the last two years of college taking advantage of where she lived and spent her time freeskiing Whistler/Blackomb. She also started getting into big mountain and backcountry skiing!

Joey Okesson
Joey has attended OMS off and on since he was in middle school and is currently still enrolled as a PG student-athlete in order to maintain his connection with our coaches while training with the US Snowboard Team. Joey is also attending Sacred Heart University through an online program, all the while training as a full time professional athlete.

Joey is best known for competing in his first US Open last year where he took 5th place in the halfpipe competition and was the top American competitor. Following, Joey was named to the US Pro Halfpipe Snowboard Team.

Julia Ford
Most of us know Julia as being a prominent role model in the world of alpine ski racing, as well as a member of the 2014 Olympic Alpine Team. Julia also attended OMS throughout her middle school years, but then went on to graduate from Holderness School. During Julia’s junior year of high school, she was recruited by the U.S. Ski Team and after graduation went right onto the team.

Julia is currently the Director of Alpine Skiing and Asst. Athletic Director at Cardigan Mountain School. OMS is also lucky enough to have Julia as an advocate for young athletes on our Board of Directors’.

Casey Abraham

Casey attended OMS as an Alpine athlete from 2007-2013. After graduation, she went on to Clarkson University where she competed on their Varsity Ski Team for all four years of college. Casey was extremely successful during her time on the team and was named Captain her senior year.

Casey is currently working on her MBA at the University of Hartford and works in Finance for Cigna in a Corporate Financial Audit Role. However, Casey still finds time for skiing as the coach of the UConn Alpine Ski Team.

Ryan Riley

Ryan attended OMS from 2010-2015 during which time he competed as an Alpine skier. He then went on to attend Clarkson University where he majored in Biomolecular Science and is currently a medical student at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

During Ryan’s time at Clarkson, he was on the Varsity Alpine team, which is a part of the MacConnell Division. During Ryan’s junior year, the team won the National Championship in GS.

Anna Valentine
Anna attended OMS throughout her high school career and graduated in 2018. She is currently a senior at the Colorado School of Mines and is majoring in Geophysics Engineering. As of January, Anna will be starting a job at the US Army Corps of Engineers Cold Regions Lab in Hanover, NH as a research assistant.

While Anna didn’t go on to compete in college, she was named to the US Rookie Team in her senior year at OMS, which allowed her to compete all over the country. Throughout college, Anna worked as an outdoor guide and became the President of the Backcountry Club, which has helped her gain the knowledge she needs to go into the field of cold weather science.

Dolores White

Dolores attended OMS from 2013-2017 as an Alpine athlete. Following graduation, she attended the University of Connecticut where she is currently a senior, pursuing a degree in Marketing with a concentration in Digital Marketing and Analytics.

Dolores has been on the Varsity Ski Team throughout her entire college career and she is currently the President of the Women’s Team. During her time at UConn, the team has made it to Nationals every year, which has brought them to Jackson Hole, WY.
