We are starting a SkiSA program at Okemo Mountain School! OMS family, the Hambsch’s, has teamed up with us to offer locally grown beef and pork for sale. This is a great chance to pack your freezer with locally grown, healthy, delicious food!
The Goal: The goal of this SkiSA is to link OMS families with locally grown, healthy, delicious food and we will be looking to add other local vendors to supply veggies, eggs, and other products.
The Product: The beef is grass fed prime angus stock. Pigs are heritage breeds.
Quarter share of beef- Around $1200, depending on final poundage; usually 100lbs.
Quarter share of pork- $300, depending on final poundage; usually 30lbs.
How it Works:
Follow the link below to purchase your SkiSa package (see options above or in the form).
Select Beef and/or pork in the form. You will only pay a deposit, $300 for beef and $100 for pork. You will then pay the difference upon pickup, depending on final poundage. Beef is $12 per pound and pork is $8.50 per pound.
If you purchase the beef, it will be available for pickup on February 21st from OMS. If you purchase pork, it will be available for pickup on March 21st from OMS. If you are unable to make the pick up date, please contact Steve Hambsch, ten.hambsch@yahoo.com or 203-249-2215 to make other arrangements.
The Hambsch Family is generously donating 10% of all sales back to Okemo Mountain School! So you can shop local and support OMS at the same time!
